We started shopping without knowing what would suit us best, and Susan and CJ first patiently learned about our current life situation and the reason why we wanted to buy. After learning that, they started suggesting different listings (sometimes even before those houses hit the market), and they helped us evaluate the pros and cons of each one of them when bringing us to the open house. About Drennon
As a San Francisco and Marin County native, Drennon Kimpton brings years of life experience on both sides of the Golden Gate Bridge and a deeply-connected network to the #1 team at Golden Gate Sotheby's International Realty. She joins a three-generation family of top-producing San Francisco + Marin County real estate agents and aligns herself with the same team that sold her grandfather, Bill Kimpton, his first house in Pacific Heights decades ago.
Coming from a local and well-known boutique hotelier family in San Francisco, Drennon Kimpton has an intimate understanding of what makes San Francisco so special and comes with strong ties to some of the most intimate venues that have shaped this city over the last few decades. Her grandfather founded the Kimpton Hotel and Restaurant Group in San Francisco –– the first boutique hotel chain in the U.S. –– with a distinct focus on hospitality, design, and food.
Drennon’s passion for real estate originates from a deep love of design, architecture, and most importantly hospitality. No matter who you are, Drennon takes pride in making her clients feel secure, taken care of, and comfortable; something her family has excelled in for generations within the hospitality world. Those buying or selling real estate deserve a strong negotiator, a clear communicator, and a trustworthy agent with an eye for design and a strong team behind them. Drennon has joined Golden Gate Sotheby's International Realty because of its brand recognition and boutique approach to a luxury market.
Drennon’s other passion – giving back. From her start in Real Estate, she knew she wanted to make an impact not just on her clients lives, but San Francisco at large. She was determined to get more involved in local housing issues and made a pledge to donate a portion of every listing commission to Larkin Street Youth Services – a local nonprofit that fights to end childhood homelessness in San Francisco.
Drennon currently lives in Pacific Heights and can be found playing tennis, waterskiing on the lake, or enjoying the slopes with friends and fresh powder.
